Saving Screenshot to the Clipboard :-

Command + Control + Shift + 3 :- Take screenshot of the whole screen and save on clipboard.

Command + Control + Shift + 4 Then select screen area :- Take screenshot and save on clipboard.

Command + Control + Shift + 4 + Space Then clck on screen :- Take screen shot and save on clipboard.

Saving Screenshot to the Desktop :-

Command + Shift + 3 :- Take screenshot of whole screen and save on desktop.

Command + Shift + 4 Then select screen area :- Take screenshot and save on desktop.

Command + Shift + 4 + Space Then clck on screen :- Take screen shot and save on desktop.

HOW TO FIX SCREENSHOT NOT WORKING ON MAC

Method 1 :-

First Go to terminal and type :- 

"defaults write com.apple.screencapture disable-shadow -bool true"

After run command you need to log out and log in again.

Method 2 :-

First install Dropbox on MAC.

After install go to Dropbox < Preferences < Import < and check or uncheck option 'Share screenshot using dropbox'. if uncheck your screenshot will be save to desktop.
